The Tomball Cougars basketball team scored 46 points and limited the host Klein Cain Hurricanes to 44 in the Cougars league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now have a 13-18 record. They play next when they host Klein Forest for a 6A Region II District 15 game on Tuesday, February 4. Tomball will confront a Eagles team coming off a 63-56 league win over Klein Collins (Spring, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 13-12.

With the loss, Klein Cain falls to 5-20 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Magnolia West (Magnolia, TX) to confront the Mustangs in a 6A Region II District 15 game on Tuesday, February 4. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 5-24. Magnolia West lost 72-35 in their recent league game against Magnolia (Magnolia, TX)
