The Ellison Eagles got by the host Belton Tigers basketball squad by a final score of 39-36 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Chaparral Bobcats (Killeen, TX) in a 5A Region II District 16 outing, on Tuesday, February 4. Ellison will attempt to upgrade on its 24-10 season record. The Bobcats come into the outing with a 22-11 record after their 66-47 league win over Lake Belton (Temple, TX).
