In Friday's league test, the Bergman Panthers (Bergman, AR) basketball squad defeated the visiting Flippin Bobcats (Flippin, AR), by a final score of 55-40.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Yellville-Summit Panthers (Yellville, AR) in a 3A Region 2 test, on Tuesday, February 4. Bergman will attempt to upgrade on its 18-9 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 12-14 record after their 70-20 league loss to Mountain View (Mountain View, AR).

The Bobcats (12-16) will now prepare for their test against Cave City (Cave City, AR). The Cavemen come into the 3A Region 2 test with a 2-18 record. In their last test, Cave City went down by Salem (Salem, AR), 54-29, in a league test.
