The Loyola Blakefield Dons basketball team scored 75 points and held the host Glenelg Country Dragons to 60 in the Dons non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Dons now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pallotti for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. Loyola Blakefield will meet a Panthers team coming off a 54-48 non-league loss to Calvert Hall (Baltimore, MD). The Panthers record now stands at 4-8.
The Dragons (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against John Carroll (Bel Air, MD). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, John Carroll was outscored by St. Frances Academy (Baltimore, MD), 87-69, in a league contest.
