The Blackhawk Cougars (Beaver Falls, PA) basketball crushed the host Hopewell Vikings (Aliquippa, PA), 67-28 in Thursday's league test.

The Cougars (10-2) will now prepare for their test against Ambridge (Ambridge, PA). The Bridgers go into the WPIAL 4A 2 test with a 0-9 record.

The Vikings now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Quaker Valley for a WPIAL 4A 2 test on Monday, January 8.
