In Saturday's non-league test, the Mt. Zion Prep Academy Warriors (Lanham, MD) basketball squad got by the visiting The Rock National Lions (Gainesville, FL), by a score of 74-69.
Next, the Warriors encounter the Norcom Greyhounds (Portsmouth, VA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 11. Mt. Zion Prep Academy will attempt to improve on its 15-1 season record. The Greyhounds come into the test with a 6-4 record after their 79-62 non-league win over Lakeland (Suffolk, VA).
The Lions (14-3) will now prepare for their test against West Oaks Academy (Orlando, FL). The Flame come into the Sunshine Independent test with a 12-6 record. In their last test, West Oaks Academy was nipped by Winston Salem Christian National (Winston-Salem, NC), 90-68, in a non-league test.
