The Sleepy Eye Indians basketball team scored 71 points and limited the visiting Nicollet Raiders to 50 in the Indians league triumph on Saturday.
The Indians now possess a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop for a A Section 2 game on Monday, January 6. Sleepy Eye will play a Thunderbirds team coming off a 91-36 league loss to Springfield (Springfield, MN). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 3-5.
With the loss, Nicollet falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to St. Mary's (Sleepy Eye, MN) to play the Knights in a A Section 2 game on Monday, January 6.
