The Artesia Bulldogs (Artesia, NM) basketball nipped the visiting Las Cruces Bulldawgs (Las Cruces, NM), 47-43 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (5-7) will now prepare for their test against Taos (Taos, NM). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, Taos got by Lovington (Lovington, NM), 73-37, in a non-league test.
The Bulldawgs now own a 7-6 record. They play next when they host Hobbs for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 10. Las Cruces will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 86-78 non-league loss to Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM). The Eagles record now stands at 7-7.
