North Carolina High School Basketball - Cannon topples Metrolina Christian Academy

In Thursday's non-league outing, the Cannon Cougars (Concord, NC) basketball squad beat the visiting Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors (Indian Trail, NC), by a count of 70-54.

The Cougars (18-4) will now prepare for their outing against Pebblebrook (Mableton, GA). The Falcons go into the non-league outing with a 9-6 record. In their last outing, Pebblebrook defeated Campbell (Smyrna, GA), 59-45, in a league outing.

The Warriors now hold a 11-13 record. They play next when they host Northside Christian Academy for a NCISAA Metrolina outing on Friday, January 6. Metrolina Christian Academy will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 87-58 non-league win over Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC). The Knights record now stands at 9-10.
