Reedley Pirates (Reedley, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Madera Coyotes (Madera, CA), 37-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Reedley upgrades its record to 3-7 on the season. The Pirates travel to Dinuba (Dinuba, CA) to clash with the Emperors in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Emperors go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Dinuba lost 54-34 in their recent non-league bout against Clovis West (Fresno, CA)

Next up, the Coyotes clash with the Edison Tigers (Fresno, CA) in a bout, on Friday, January 13. Madera will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
