The Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish basketball team (Oklahoma City, OK), was overwhelmed 64-24 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Piedmont Wildcats (Piedmont, OK)
The Wildcats now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodward for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 10. Piedmont will confront a Boomers team coming off a 50-45 non-league loss to Kingfisher (Kingfisher, OK). The Boomers record now stands at 1-3.
The Fighting Irish (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against Lawton (Lawton, OK). The Wolverines come into the non-league battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Lawton was overwhelmed by Hirschi (Wichita Falls, TX), 36-30, in a non-league battle.
