With the win, Serena upgrades its record to 12-8 on the season. The Huskers host Indian Creek (Shabbona, IL) to clash with the Timberwolves in a Little Ten bout on Thursday, January 12. The Timberwolves go into the bout with a record of 3-7.

Next up, the Hawks clash with the Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders (Ashton, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. Hiawatha will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 7-10 record after their 45-32 league loss to Forreston (Forreston, IL).
