The Broncos come into the challenge with a record of 9-8. Sonora lost 48-46 in their recent league challenge against Forsan (Forsan, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Sterling City Eagles (Sterling City, TX) in a 2A Region I District 7 challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Water Valley will attempt to improve on its 10-11 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 17-2 record after their 60-49 league win over Ozona (Ozona, TX).
