The Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva Panthers to 47 in the Knights league victory on Friday.

The Knights now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bethlehem Academy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9. Kenyon-Wanamingo will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 70-41 non-league loss to Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton (Janesville, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-8.

The Panthers (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Waterville-Elysian-Morristown (Waterville, MN). The Buccaneers come into the AA Section 2 contest with a 4-6 record.
