San Diego Vaqueros (San Diego, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Banquete Bulldogs (Banquete, TX), 67-28 in a league bout.

With the win, San Diego upgrades its record to 8-8 on the season. The Vaqueros host Santa Gertrudis Academy (Kingsville, TX) to play the Lions in a 3A Region IV District 30 bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 8-13.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Santa Gertrudis Academy Lions (Kingsville, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 30 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Banquete will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record.
