Minnesota High School Basketball - Fairmont knocked off by St. Peter

The St. Peter Saints basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Fairmont Cardinals to 40 in the Saints non-league triumph on Friday.
The Saints now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mankato West for a AAA Section 2 contest on Tuesday, January 9. St. Peter will meet a Scarlets team coming off a 85-60 non-league loss to Austin (Austin, MN). The Scarlets record now stands at 5-6.
The Cardinals (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against New Ulm (New Ulm, MN). The Eagles enter the AAA Section 2 contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, New Ulm ran past Waseca (Waseca, MN), 63-33, in a league contest.
