The Sweet Water Bulldogs basketball team (Sweet Water, AL), was routed 75-29 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Johnson Eagles (Thomaston, AL)

The Eagles now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to University Charter for a 1A Area 6 battle on Tuesday, January 9. Johnson will battle a Trail Blazers team coming off a 28-26 non-league win over Marengo (Dixons Mills, AL). The Trail Blazers record now stands at 6-8.

The Bulldogs (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Southern Choctaw (Gilbertown, AL). The Indians come into the 1A Area 4 battle with a 4-2 record.
