In Friday's non-league outing, the Lyndon Institute Vikings (Lyndon Center, VT) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Missisquoi Valley Thunderbirds (Swanton, VT), by a margin of 71-45.
The Vikings (5-0) will now prepare for their outing against Spaulding (Barre, VT). The Crimson Tide go into the non-league outing with a 3-4 record. In their last outing, Spaulding was trounced by Harwood (Moretown, VT), 44-32, in a non-league outing.
The Thunderbirds now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Vergennes for a Lake outing on Wednesday, January 10. Missisquoi Valley will clash with a Commodores squad coming off a 53-17 non-league win over Mill River (North Clarendon, VT). The Commodores record now stands at 5-1.
