With the win, Port Arthur Memorial upgrades its record to 9-10 on the season. The Titans host Nederland (Nederland, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 5A Region III District 17 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 1-22. Nederland won 45-35 in their recent league bout against Lee (Baytown, TX)

Next up, the Indians play the Barbers Hill Eagles (Mt. Belvieu, TX) in a 5A Region III District 17 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Port Neches-Groves will attempt to upgrade on its 10-16 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 18-7 record after their 60-36 league win over Sterling (Baytown, TX).
