Nevada High School Basketball - West Wendover nudges Sierra Lutheran

January 5, 2024: West Wendover, NV 89883

In Friday's league outing, the West Wendover Wolverines (West Wendover, NV) basketball squad edged the visiting Sierra Lutheran Falcons (Carson City, NV), by a count of 39-34.

The Wolverines (8-4) will now prepare for their outing against Silver Stage (Silver Springs, NV). The Nighthawks go into the 2A Northern outing with a 3-6 record. In their last outing, Silver Stage was tipped by Battle Mountain (Battle Mountain, NV), 38-10, in a league outing.

The Falcons now hold a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Battle Mountain for a 2A Northern challenge on Saturday, January 6. Sierra Lutheran will play a Longhorns squad coming off a 38-10 league win over Silver Stage (Silver Springs, NV). The Longhorns record now stands at 11-5.
