The Apple Valley Eagles basketball team (Apple Valley, MN), dropped 67-54 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Prior Lake Lakers (Prior Lake, MN)

The Lakers now possess a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shakopee for a AAAA Section 2 battle on Tuesday, January 10. Prior Lake will battle a Sabers team coming off a 69-63 non-league loss to Wayzata (Plymouth, MN). The Sabers record now stands at 5-3.

The Eagles (0-7) will now prepare for their battle against North (North St. Paul, MN). The Polars come into the non-league battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, North dropped by Mounds View (Arden Hills, MN), 72-62, in a non-league battle.
