The Holland Dutchmen (Holland, NY) basketball knocked off the host Tonawanda Warriors (Tonawanda, NY), 69-53 in Friday's league test.
The Dutchmen (8-0) will now prepare for their test against Cleveland Hill (Cheektowaga, NY). The Golden Eagles go into the Section 6 Erie County IV test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Cleveland Hill notched a victory over Alden (Alden, NY), 61-35, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Kennedy for a Section 6 Erie County IV test on Tuesday, January 10. Tonawanda will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 61-36 non-league loss to Hutchinson-Central Tech (Buffalo, NY). The Bears record now stands at 1-4.
