The Jacksonville Crimsons basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Springfield Senators to 37 in the Crimsons league triumph on Friday.
The Crimsons now sport a 4-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rochester for a Central State Eight contest on Tuesday, January 10. Jacksonville will battle a Rockets team coming off a 58-44 non-league win over Heyworth (Heyworth, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 9-8.
The Senators (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Quincy (Quincy, IL). The Blue Devils enter the non-league contest with a 13-2 record. In their last contest, Quincy ran past Rock Island (Rock Island, IL), 61-55, in a league contest.
