Texas High School Basketball - Grapevine can't hold off Denton

The Denton Broncos basketball team scored 31 points and held the visiting Grapevine Mustangs to 24 in the Broncos league triumph on Friday.
The Broncos now sport a 13-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Dallas for a 5A Region I District 7 contest on Tuesday, January 10. Denton will battle a Falcons team coming off a 49-39 league loss to Colleyville Heritage (Colleyville, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 8-13.
The Mustangs (2-18) will now prepare for their contest against Argyle (Argyle, TX). The Eagles enter the 5A Region I District 7 contest with a 21-3 record. In their last contest, Argyle nudged Ryan (Denton, TX), 41-21, in a league contest.
