The Sandy Pioneers tipped the host Glencoe Crimson Tide basketball team by a final score of 39-38 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Pioneers face the David Douglas Scots (Portland, OR) in a 6A Mt. Hood game, on Tuesday, January 10. Sandy will attempt to move on its 2-6 season record. The Scots enter the game with a 2-8 record after their 55-16 non-league loss to Forest Grove (Forest Grove, OR).

With the defeat, Glencoe moves to 1-10 on the year. The Crimson tide travel to Liberty (Hillsboro, OR) to face the Falcons in a 6A Pacific game on Tuesday, January 10. The Falcons enter the game with a record of 4-7. Liberty lost 75-43 in their recent non-league game against Lakeridge (Lake Oswego, OR)
