Fort Madison Bloodhounds (Fort Madison, IA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Central Lee Hawks (Donnellson, IA), 63-55 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Fort Madison upgrades its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Bloodhounds travel to Keokuk (Keokuk, IA) to play the Chiefs in a Southeast bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Chiefs come into the bout with a record of 10-2. Keokuk won 53-47 in their recent non-league bout against Kirksville (Kirksville, MO)

Next up, the Hawks play the Mediapolis Bulldogs (Mediapolis, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Central Lee will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record.
