In Saturday's non-league outing, the Watseka Warriors (Watseka, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Clifton Central Comets (Clifton, IL), by a count of 67-26.

The Warriors (15-1) will now prepare for their outing against Georgetown-Ridge Farm (Georgetown, IL). The Buffaloes go into the Vermilion Valley outing with a 7-7 record. In their last outing, Georgetown-Ridge Farm was crushed by Salt Fork (Sidell, IL), 35-22, in a league outing.

The Comets now hold a 9-11 record. They play next when they host Momence for a River Valley outing on Monday, January 8. Clifton Central will clash with a Momence Athletics squad coming off a 52-30 league win over Illinois Lutheran (Crete, IL). The Momence Athletics record now stands at 7-6.
