The Lutheran Crusaders basketball team scored 75 points and held the host Rockford Christian Royal Lions to 48 in the Crusaders league triumph on Saturday.

The Crusaders now sport a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Yorkville Christian for a non-league contest on Monday, January 8. Lutheran will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 66-59 non-league loss to Lisle (Lisle, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-8.

The Royal Lions (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Oregon (Oregon, IL). The Hawks enter the Big Northern contest with a 4-14 record. In their last contest, Oregon was routed by Winnebago (Winnebago, IL), 47-29, in a league contest.
