Georgia High School Basketball - Perry overwhelmed by Veterans

The Veterans Warhawks basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the host Perry Panthers to 25 in the Warhawks non-league victory on Saturday.

The Warhawks now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lee County for a AAAAAA Region 1 contest on Tuesday, January 9. Veterans will battle a Trojans team coming off a 51-40 non-league loss to Terrell County (Dawson, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 2-8.

The Panthers (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Howard (Macon, GA). The Huskies come into the AAAA Region 2 contest with a 2-12 record. In their last contest, Howard was routed by Griffin (Griffin, GA), 60-25, in a league contest.
