Michigan High School Basketball - Franklin overwhelmed by Wayne Memorial

The Wayne Memorial Zebras basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Franklin Patriots to 24 in the Zebras league victory on Friday.
The Zebras now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Grand Rapids for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 8. Wayne Memorial will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 74-54 non-league loss to Byron Center (Byron Center, MI). The Pioneers record now stands at 1-3.
The Patriots (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Dearborn (Dearborn, MI). The Pioneers come into the Kensington Lakes - East contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Dearborn was routed by Stevenson (Livonia, MI), 39-29, in a league contest.
