Valley Heights Mustangs (Blue Rapids, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Troy Trojans (Troy, KS), 71-29 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Valley Heights upgrades its record to 7-0 on the season. The Mustangs host Minneapolis (Minneapolis, KS) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 11. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Minneapolis lost 55-43 in their recent non-league bout against Southeast of Saline (Gypsum, KS)
Next up, the Trojans play the Onaga Buffaloes (Onaga, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 11. Troy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Buffaloes go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 43-39 non-league win over Flint Hills Christian (Manhattan, KS).
