The Centaurus Warriors tipped the visiting Grand Junction Central Warriors basketball team by a final score of 43-39 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Warriors face the Silver Creek Raptors (Longmont, CO) in a 6A/5A/4A Northern game, on Wednesday, January 11. Centaurus will attempt to move on its 9-0 season record. The Raptors enter the game with a 3-6 record after their 54-27 league loss to Holy Family (Broomfield, CO).
With the defeat, Grand Junction Central falls to 6-5 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Montrose (Montrose, CO) to confront the Red Hawks in a 6A/5A Southwestern battle on Tuesday, January 10. The Red Hawks come into the battle with a record of 8-1. Montrose won 44-34 in their recent non-league battle against Kent Denver (Englewood, CO)
