Virginia High School Basketball - John Marshall can't hold off L.C. Bird

The L.C. Bird Skyhawks basketball team scored 33 points and restricted the host John Marshall Justices to 26 in the Skyhawks non-league victory on Saturday.

The Skyhawks now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Manchester for a Dominion contest on Tuesday, January 10. L.C. Bird will battle a Lancers team coming off a 92-16 league win over Wythe (Richmond, VA). The Lancers record now stands at 9-2.

The Justices (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Wythe (Richmond, VA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 2-9 record. In their last contest, Wythe was nudged by Manchester (Midlothian, VA), 92-16, in a league contest.
