In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Cypress Ranch Mustangs basketball team scored a close 53-47 triumph over the Bridgeland Bears.

The Mustangs (14-10) will now prepare for their contest against Langham Creek (Houston, TX). The Lobos go into the 6A Region II District 16 contest with a 8-15 record. In their last contest, Langham Creek nipped Cypress Lakes (Katy, TX), 54-42, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bears confront the Cypress Woods Wildcats (Cypress, TX) in a 6A Region II District 16 contest, on Friday, January 10. Bridgeland will attempt to better on its 14-10 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 10-12 record after their 61-59 league win over Cypress Park (Cypress, TX).
