The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets (New Roads, LA) and the host Louisiana School for the Deaf War Eagles (Baton Rouge, LA), observed Catholic of Pointe Coupee's basketball team overwhelm Louisiana School for the Deaf by a score of 75-11.
The Hornets (7-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Slaughter Community Charter (Slaughter, LA). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 7-9 record. In their last challenge, Slaughter Community Charter trounced St. Edmund (Eunice, LA), 58-56, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the War Eagles encounter the Central Private Redhawks (Baker, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 8. Louisiana School for the Deaf will attempt to improve on its 0-16 season record. The Redhawks come into the challenge with a 11-8 record after their 55-49 non-league win over Episcopal (Baton Rouge, LA).
