The Woodstock Wolverines basketball squad (Woodstock, GA), was nudged 65-62 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Sequoyah Chiefs (Canton, GA)
With the victory, Sequoyah advances its record to 10-6 on the year. The Chiefs host Lassiter (Marietta, GA) to meet the Trojans in a AAAAA Region 6 battle on Thursday, January 9. The Trojans enter the battle with a record of 10-7. Lassiter lost 68-51 in their recent league battle against Riverwood (Sandy Springs, GA)
The Wolverines now own a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host River Ridge for a AAAAA Region 6 battle on Friday, January 10. Woodstock will meet a Knights squad coming off a 67-56 league win over Pope (Marietta, GA). The Knights record now stands at 8-9.
