The Central Aroostook Panthers basketball team (Mars Hill, ME), was toppled 58-38 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Hodgdon Hawks (Hodgdon, ME)
The Hawks now possess a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Washburn for a non-league battle on Friday, January 12. Hodgdon will confront a Beavers team coming off a 57-31 league win over Van Buren (Van Buren, ME). The Beavers record now stands at 4-5.
The Panthers (1-7) will now prepare for their battle against Madawaska (Madawaska, ME). The Owls come into the non-league battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Madawaska beat Wisdom (St. Agatha, ME), 76-47, in a non-league battle.
