In Tuesday's league outing, the Oak Harbor Wildcats (Oak Harbor, WA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Bellingham Bayhawks (Bellingham, WA), by a margin of 49-16.

The Wildcats (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA). The Bulldogs go into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, Mount Vernon was trounced by Sehome (Bellingham, WA), 52-26, in a league outing.

The Bayhawks now own a 2-10 record. They play next when they travel to Anacortes for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest outing on Thursday, January 11. Bellingham will encounter a Seahawks squad coming off a 58-25 league loss to Squalicum (Bellingham, WA). The Seahawks record now stands at 2-1.
