The Dragons (9-14) will now prepare for their test against Huntsville (Huntsville, TX). The Hornets go into the 5A Region II District 16 test with a 19-7 record. In their last test, Huntsville walloped Kingwood Park (Kingwood, TX), 77-41, in a league test.

The Broncos now own a 3-16 record. They play next when they travel to Lufkin for a 5A Region II District 16 test on Friday, January 12. Dayton will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 40-26 league loss to Porter (Porter, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 7-12.
