In Thursday's league contest, the host Lauderdale County Tigers basketball team scored a big 62-30 triumph over the Clements Colts.
The Tigers (15-1) will now prepare for their contest against Rogers (Florence, AL). The Pirates go into the 3A Area 16 contest with a 5-10 record.
In their next game, the Colts battle the Colbert County Indians (Leighton, AL) in a 3A Area 16 contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Clements will attempt to better on its 10-11 season record. The Indians go into the contest with a 8-9 record after their 66-44 non-league loss to East Lawrence (Trinity, AL).
