The Chicago Academy Cougars basketball team scored 38 points and limited the visiting North Grand Eagle Owls to 26 in the Cougars league triumph on Thursday.

The Cougars now have a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Pritzker for a non-league game on Friday, January 17.

With the loss, North Grand falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Eagle owls host Von Steuben (Chicago, IL) to confront the Panthers in a game on Tuesday, January 21. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 7-1. Von Steuben won 44-19 in their recent league game against Chicago Mathematics & Science (Chicago, IL)
