In Saturday's non-league contest, the John Hardin Bulldogs (Elizabethtown, KY) volleyball squad nudged the host Corbin Redhounds (Corbin, KY), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Bulldogs face the Larue County Hawks (Hodgenville, KY) in a non-league contest, on Monday, October 10. John Hardin will attempt to better on its 10-14 season record.

With the loss, Corbin moves to 13-5 on the year. The Redhounds travel to Shelby County (Shelbyville, KY) to face the Rockets in a non-league contest on Saturday, October 1. The Rockets go into the contest with a record of 2-12. Shelby County lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Lexington Catholic (Lexington, KY)
