The Highland Tech Rams football team (Gastonia, NC), was crushed 34-0 in Tuesday's league bout with the visiting Bessemer City Yellow Jackets (Bessemer City, NC)

With the win, Bessemer City advances its record to 4-2 on the season. The Yellow Jackets travel to Burns (Lawndale, NC) to encounter the Bulldogs in a 1A/2A Southern Piedmont bout on Friday, October 4. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Burns won 56-8 in their recent league bout against Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC)
