Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY) fans went home thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the visiting Knox Central Panthers (Barbourville, KY), 3-0 in a league test.

The Colonels now have a 27-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harlan County for a non-league test on Thursday, October 12. Whitley County will confront a Black Bears team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Buckhorn (Buckhorn, KY). The Black Bears record now stands at 17-7.

The Panthers (3-15) will now prepare for their test against Clay County (Manchester, KY). The Tigers enter the non-league test with a 3-11 record. In their last test, Clay County was knocked off by Jackson County (McKee, KY), 3-0, in a league test.
