New York High School Football - Longwood defeats Sachem East

The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Longwood Lions (Middle Island, NY) and the host Sachem East (Farmingville, NY), witnessed Longwood's football squad topple Sachem East by a tally of 35-7.

The Lions (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lindenhurst (Lindenhurst, NY). The Bulldogs enter the Section 11 Division I contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Lindenhurst thwarted Commack (Commack, NY), 29-28, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the confront the Brentwood Indians (Brentwood, NY) in a Section 11 Division I contest, on Saturday, October 19. Sachem East will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Indians enter the contest with a 1-4 record after their 24-7 league loss to Patchogue-Medford (Medford, NY).
