California High School Football - Santa Barbara falls to Rio Mesa

The Rio Mesa Spartans felled the visiting Santa Barbara Dons football team by a score of 41-28 in Thursday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Spartans play the Thousand Oaks Lancers (Thousand Oaks, CA) in a Conejo Coast challenge, on Friday, October 18. Rio Mesa will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Lancers go into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 41-14 league win over Westlake (Westlake Village, CA).
The Dons (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Calabasas (Calabasas, CA). The Coyotes go into the Conejo Coast challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Calabasas was dropped by Newbury Park (Newbury Park, CA), 48-20, in a league challenge.
