Texas High School Volleyball - Somerset can't hold off Carrizo Springs

In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Carrizo Springs Wildcats volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Somerset Bulldogs.

The Wildcats (8-12) will now prepare for their battle against Floresville (Floresville, TX). The Tigers come into the 4A Region IV District 29 battle with a 27-7 record. In their last battle, Floresville nudged Uvalde (Uvalde, TX), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Bulldogs encounter the Pleasanton Eagles (Pleasanton, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 29 battle, on Friday, October 14. Somerset will attempt to move on its 3-18 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 36-2 record after their 3-1 league win over Devine (Devine, TX).
