Virginia High School Volleyball - Grayson County Galax

The Grayson County Blue Devils volleyball team (Independence, VA), was dropped 3-1 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Galax Maroon Tide (Galax, VA)

With the win, Galax upgrades its record to 10-9 on the year. The Maroon Tide travel to Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA) to play the Pioneers in a Mountain Empire bout on Thursday, October 13. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 2-16. Fort Chiswell lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Auburn (Riner, VA)

The Blue Devils now own a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Bland County for a Mountain Empire bout on Thursday, October 13. Grayson County will play a Bears squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to George Wythe (Wytheville, VA). The Bears record now stands at 12-5.
