Minisink Valley Warriors (Slate Hill, NY) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Monticello Panthers (Monticello, NY), 3-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Warriors confront the Delaware Valley Warriors (Milford, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 11. Minisink Valley will attempt to move on its 5-6 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 4-0 league loss to Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA).

The Panthers now possess a 1-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Goshen Central for a Section 9 Division III challenge on Thursday, October 12. Monticello will confront a Gladiators team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Valley Central (Montgomery, NY). The Gladiators record now stands at 5-3.
