California High School Volleyball - Placer over Nevada Union

The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA) and the visiting Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA), saw Placer's volleyball squad beat Nevada Union by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Placer upgrades its record to 16-9 on the year. The Hillmen travel to West Park (Roseville, CA) to play the Panthers in a Foothill Valley League bout on Monday, October 16. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 16-15. West Park lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA)

The Miners now own a 11-24 record. They play next when they host Oakmont for a Foothill Valley League bout on Monday, October 16. Nevada Union will play a Vikings squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Lincoln (Lincoln, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 1-15.
